Bunda 7 is a quiet oasis just off the beach with lovely gardens, friendly helpful staff and pool. Initially we were given a room which involved steep wooden steps down to an outside bathroom and are glad we asked to change rooms as this was the rainy season. We moved to the rooms opposite with onsuite bathrooms, this was facilitated for us without any problems. We spent a couple of nights in the aircon room, but then changed to the much cheaper fan room (Air con is not really needed due to the strong wall fan). The room and bed itself was clean. We are a professional couple travelling on a budget; we are used to 4-5 star standards and found Bunda 7 to be good value for the money spent. Comfort and feeling safe in our environment on holiday is more important than price to us and we would not have stayed as long if we didn’t feel happy here. We recommend hiring a scooter during the stay to explore the island, this was sorted out for us through the hotel. If you contact the hotel before hand they will pick you up from the boat on a scooter (there are only about 6 cars on the island). We planned on staying 2 nights but ended up staying 7, only leaving due to time constraints.
A little more time could have been spent cleaning the bathroom but as this is not a 5 star hotel with the prices to match let’s not be silly.

I thought the bungalows and the grounds were nicely maintained and very high quality for the price. The bungalows were "cute" and were pleasant to stay in. The staff were very kind and helpful. They easily arranged various tours , rental of a motorbike, and transfers to and from the hotel as well as for visiting a doctor when I felt unwell. I would be happy to stay there again and to recommend to a friend.
It exceeded my expectations- especially for the price. I would expect to pay more for the quality of the lodgings and service.

Room and garden is very nice, the pool is superb. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quiet place, highly recommended for families, and those who do not mind a 10 minute walk to the sea. Or you can rent a motorbike and then it is only 2 minutes.

Location not the best, although just 5 min walk to the beach. Very slow internet!
